PEPSI CO In January of 2011, Diane Gordon was hired by Symrise to develop recipes for Pepsico, pairing flavor combinations with some of the company's new beverage products. At an Inspiration Day at their New York studio, alongside food scientists from Symrise, Diane Gordon presented her dishes — Multi Grain Pancakes with Minted Maple Syrup and and Cilantro Marinated Shrimp with Guacamole and Tropical Salsa. Executives from Pepsi's marketing team sampled the food and beverages and Diane addressed questions about the pairing concepts. The trend immersion day ended with a cocktail reception organized by Diane Gordon Catering. Passed hors d'oeuvres and signature specialty cocktails were served, reflecting the themes of vitality and globalism.
